Why did you join the Board?

Professional development, access to trainings, and most importantly being involved with a group of experienced professions from whom I can learn.

What is your favorite quote?

What is something others may not know about you? This could be anything you feel like sharing. Hobbies? Fun-Facts?

I enjoy playing golf and traveling, although I never get to do enough of that. 

What is your favorite book or author?

Malcolm Gladwell. Anything by Malcolm Gladwell

What is your favorite food?

Pasta of any kind.

What is your favorite movie or TV show?

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a current favorite, it changes frequently. 

What was the last book you read?

Radium Girls by Kate Moore

How did you become involved with sex offender treatment/supervision?

I did an internship in undergrad because it was one of the few clinical placements available. During that internship found that I really liked the work and the models used; As challenging as it can be, I also like working with the population because I think there are opportunities to see actual change/growth. When I graduated, I took a job to keep doing it. 

What are your professional goals for the next year?

Continue to develop professional networks and my own expertise. 

What are some changes in the field clinically or legislatively you advocate or want to advocate for?

Risk-based registry and supervision. I want legislation to actually be effective in managing risk.
