Why did you join the Board?
I joined the board in order to help bring world-class training to the providers in Michigan. I wanted to
help the people that provide services to those that have sexually offended have a voice in policy matters
that affect this population and the providers.

How did you become involved with sex offender treatment/supervision?
Early in my career I worked mostly with survivors of sexual abuse. When people that had offended were
referred to me, I realized that working with them was helping to not create the victims in the first place.
What are your professional goals for the next year?
Continue to provide leadership for our agency as a premier provider of Sex Offense treatment services.
Provide the board with leadership to develop high-quality training and advocacy.
What are some changes in the field clinically or legislatively you advocate or want to advocate for?
I want to continue to move the field toward a more positive focus on the treatment of our clients. I
want to encourage the greater use of protective factors in treatment.
