MISSION:

MI-ATSA works to increase awareness and promote effective practices and policies to prevent and reduce the harm of sexual abuse. Click the Home page tab above to learn more about our goals.

GOALS:

Provide an annual conference and educational programming to train clinicians, corrections personnel, law enforcement, victim advocates, policymakers and other stakeholders in the prevention of sexual abuse.

Provide research and best practices in the assessment, treatment and monitoring of individuals who have committed or may be at risk to commit sexual abuse through our newsletters, web links, and network of members.

Serve as a center for information and communication within the state regarding resources relevant to our mission for those directly involved in providing services, shaping policy and inquires from the general public.

Serve as a source of connection with other professionals engaged in the challenging work and mission of harm reduction and treating those with sexual behavioral concerns.

Collaborate with other organizations involved in the prevention of sexual abuse.
